In v7, the plugin dialog allows me to easily INSTALL a theme, and to choose which one to use. I don't, however, see any way to UNINSTALL or REPAIR a theme.

Here's the reason I ask, instead of just being OK with a list of themes: I have been downloading some themes to cherry pick out some of the great background images I like to slightly modify the standard theme. I inadvertently deleted a file out of one of those theme folders. Now I can't get it back. If I could only re-download the theme after removing it, I'd be good.

note: I did try to move the downloaded theme folder to the trash, but it didn't seem to make any difference. I also realize this is kind of a weird use case.

Setup > SageTV Plugins > Installed Plugins, select the theme, and choose Uninstall.

Sigh, I kept trying to do this from the ALL PLUGINS menu instead the INSTALLED PLUGINS menu. I blame newborn-induced sleep deprivation :coffee:!

Thanks for directing me to what should have been obvious.

Speaking of which... this exact thing has confused me since the beginning... why aren't all the options available in both areas? There might be a reason for it but it doesn't make sense to me that in both places I can see the plugins I have installed but selecting my installed plugins gives me different options depending on where I look at it. Similar for the updates... both areas tell me that an update is available (and I can install from both areas) but in one area I have a few options and in another I have maybe 8 or 9 options. The one in particular that sticks out is that if there is an update, (the way I understand it) one area I can see what the update is for (the update information if the author fills it in) and in the other I see only the generic plugin information.

So basically, not sure why (for installed plugins) the items that pop up when the plugin is selected are not the same in both areas?

I think the answer is going to be that when selecting from the Available Plugins list, you're not selecting your installed copy of the plugin, you're selecting the original out on the repository. So it seems a bit weird to select that remote original in order to perform some operation on your locally installed plugin, which might not even be the same version as what you have selected.

I'm not particularly defending this user model of viewing the remote list separately from viewing the local list. But having different options on each list seems consistent with that model.

Gotcha. I know it confused me a bit at first and I've seen a few questions related to this confusion so thought I'd throw it out there :)
