EPG Sage.Properties Settings Clarification

I tried doing a search on these an didn't find them:

epg/download_frequency=
*By default this is set to 0, I'm curious what the settings for this actually do.

epg/download_while_inactive=
*By default this is set to false, I'm curious what is considered inactive and how often when inactive.

I was looking for a way in Sage to update my EPG data more often and this looked like a way to do that...anyone have any experience with these settings?

bump: incase it was overlooked...anyone have a clue? These look like the settings to update the EPG more often, I know I'd like mine updated more often...I think it would help with conflicts and shows not getting recorded because of a shift in schedule during the day.
