Display only background/backdrop?

Is there anyway to be able to just display the backdrop of a movie?
For example in coverflow view to be able to press a button to suppress all of the info other than the backdrop so that you get the opportunity to view it in full and then press another button to carry on as before.

Likewise this would be good to do in the other views as well :)

Autofade out will do it automatically based on your delay setting.

Is it possible to hide the movie cover and show the background at 0% transparency i.e full colour - so you get to see the artwork in all its glory?

The background respects the views transparency setting if you log it on google code I can see what I can do but I won't be getting rid of the cover more than likely.
