Well i made some modifications to my original GML that does tivo-like ffw and rewind and figured id post it just in case anyone else could use it.
the zip file contains the GML and a PDF with instructions:
i tried to make it as easy as possible to get setup. It is only for people using girder to control SageTV via the SendMessage plugin. Ive been using this since 1.4. you can see the original post of it here:

it was kinda a pain to get configured, and you needed the XPOSD plugin to make it work, So i remade the GML so you only have to learn the PLAY, FFW and REW once, and it uses the built in Simple OSD in girder.
It works on my machine (Pentium 850) but it skips kinda erratically when i go over 2X. I believe this is because my machine is very slow and boggs down when it comes to video rendering. Curious to know how it works on some faster machines.
Anyhow, i hope someone will find this usefull and let me know if you do try it, how it responds.
