View Full Version : IMDB Fix for legacy 3.1 and 4.0 versions (Sage 6)

Here's the updated jar file for version 3.1. Download it, and extact it to your Sage Home. It should overwrite the existing metadata-updater.jar file that is there. So make sure it happens. It's best to have sagetv stopped when you do the extraction.

Here's the updated jar for build 4.0-beta21 that fixes the IMDB issue (i hope). All I did was add the /combined to the url. I can't test it, and I can't even be sure if it's 100% like the beta21 build, but it should be very close. Download and extract this to the Sage Home. It should overwrite the existing metadata-updater.jar in the JARs directory. Sage should be stopped when you do the upgrade.

I hope it works. Given how this particular bug cripples the entire tool, I thought I'd at least take a look. I can't guarantee the new jar will not have other issues, but the imdb issue should be fixed. If people could report back that the jar works (and which version you used), then that would be helpful as well. And, other than this critical flaw, I make no guarantees that I'll ever update 4.0 or or 3.1 again ;)

It appears to be working for me. I had 3 movies that were not populated but they seem to be now. This was a very quick test. I will let you know more in the next day or two.

Additionally, thank you very much for helping us out. I really wasn't expecting you to put your time and effort to resolve this problem. Thanks again
