I've been a Sage user for about 3 years now and have always been able to setup new features or fix any problems by searching the forums. I guess my lurking days are over because now my family loves SageTV and any interruption in their television viewing or a missed show and I really hear about it.
This weekend I installed SageTV 7 and it went pretty well, I really like the new UI, but I have been having freezes where the busy indicator just sits in the center of the screen going round and round forever until I push the computer's power button. In the past I have never really had to debug a problem, I just implemented a fix that I found somewhere in this forum.
How do I go about debugging this problem? Is there an event log being generated somewhere I should be analyzing? Has anyone put together a How-To that gives the details on SageTV debugging?
