Version .21 Woes

Has anyone else experienced issues with the latest beta release?

I installed version 21 (was previously running version 20) and it horribly broke my HDPVR support which had been flawless for months. I was no longer able to watch Live TV for more than 30 seconds. Recording a program resulted in so many stops and stutters that it was unwatchable.

I restored to an older version of Sage, re-installed version 20, imported my backed up Wiz.bin and everything is working properly again, but i'm on Version 20. I don't want to be stuck here indefinitely!

Has anyone else experienced these types of issues with version .21? I saw one post about the java heap size setting in the registry getting virtualized and redirected, but I don't think that would be the case on an old Windows XP box, seems like more of a Vista/7 thing because of UAC.

Now i'm off to go submit a bug report to the support guys.

Been running .21 for several days with plenty of recording and playback, etc is all good. Nothing more than my usual (mostly rare) issues with the HD-PVR...

I am having issues with version .21. I am getting the equivalent of the hourglass (spinning ball) inconsistently when I try to change menus. In addition, sometimes also when I launch live TV.

I am using a i7/860 box, 64 bit Windows 7 Professional, with raid 0, 4gb ram, and not a whole lot loaded on it (clean). However, I am concerned that I am using a 1.5 TB USB drive for storage of the programs. I am running Sage TV server on on the internal raid drives.

The reason for pointing this out is that I am not using a old Pentium 3 or something equivalent.... I'm using what should be a very fast machine.
