I recently made the switch to SageTV and so far have been very pleased. As part of my setup, I put a G5 in my kitchen which will do nothing but run SageTV Mac Client. Mostly, it works well -- but I have one problem that I haven't been able to resolve.
When SageTV has been idling for about an hour it becomes unresponsive and will not do anything. The SageTV screen saver is still running so the computer is not frozen, but neither a mouse click nor a keyboard press will take SageTV out of its slumber. The problem occurs whether paused on a video or on the main screen after a reboot of the computer (which has then been left to idle for an hour or so).
When this happens, I ultimately have to force quit the SageTV client and reload it, and then it works fine. I am trying to find a way to use SageTV though that doesn't require rebooting the software every time I want to watch a program. Anyone have any thoughts?
Anyone have any suggestions for preventing the SageTV client from zoning out like this?

Update: I think the problem only occurs when paused in a video, or on the main screen when the Mac has been allowed to sleep.
