HD300 Won't Save Output Resolution

I have an HD300 connected to a SageTV7 server. When I power up the HD300, the output resolution is always 720x4280i (the top one on the list) and I always have to go into Setup > Detailed Setup > Multimedia and set the Output Resolution back to 1080i. How can I get the HD300/sagetv server to remember this setting?

I'm pretty sure the initial splash screen is always 480i. Mine switches resolution once it fully connects to the server.

In Standalone mode (before you connect to a server) you go to the Video Output menu, and toggle to the output resolution you want to be default.

I have the same issue. I set mine to 1080p and when I power on the hd300 it's always defaulting to 720. My other hd300 is fine, but it's set to 720 all the time.
