7.1.2 Upgrade

I have had problem with some of the movies in my Video library since the upgrade. I get an error when I try to play them back. Some will work fine and I have not had any issues with the ATSC or HD-PVR recordings. This issue happens on several different SageTV Clients.

I went back and tried the same movies on the test box with a older version and there were no issues with playback.

Is anyone else having a problem with video playback with the beta?

Videos play fine, but they will start stuttering for no reason and sometimes the client.exe will minimize itself with audio continuing to play, but it isn't actually minimized because I can't make it come back. I have to use task manager to close it. All is well after restart.

I am still having problems with this in the current beta.

I converted the m2ts to a mkv using the sames h.264 and ac3 inputs from a m2ts file that is giving me a problem and it works fine. This is consistent across all my PC clients. The files play fine in VLC on the same machine.

Any ideas?

I was watching an m2ts blu-ray last night and it would stutter every 30min or so. Then after about an hour and a half sage closed on me again. Only happens with long HD files. Doesn't even have to be a specific container or codec. Very strange. I've submitted bug reports and one thing they did say is plugins may not be compatible any more. I removed quite a few and it helped, but there are some I just don't want to remove. I may have to to finally get this fixed. My system doesn't like h.264 inside .mkv so I use .m2ts for h.264 and .mkv for vc-1.
