7.1.2 beta issues [RESOLVED]

i'm seeing two types of new behavior with 7.1.2 beta

1. when skipping ahead (my default is 30 seconds), i get occasional audio clicks (maybe 1 in 5 or 10 times)............this never happened before this beta and was noticed immediately after beta upgrade.........config: using a hd300 and this happens with recordings from both hdhr and hdpvr

2. when navigating through sage recordings (up, down), last night i got occasional spinning circles that lasted for quite a while...........i power cycled the hd300 and that didn't help either

anyone else seeing this behavior?...........i'll submit bug reports for the beta later today

edit: i am also seeing the spinning arrow/circle on EPG navigation with hd300.................i think this is due to fast button
punching on the remote, so i suspect that 7.1.2 (or 7.1.2 & hd300 combo) may be more sensitive somehow responding to (or not responding) to quick or multiple remote commands.

I don't see these issues. Are you running the latest beta firmware 20110217-2?

I got behavior like this in my system with Colossus+HD PVR after about a day or so of usage. (Everything was slow like Sage TV was starved for resources). After removing the Colossus as a tuner and restarting Sage TV, I've been fine the rest of the week.

i had removed the colossus also.........but let me restart sageTV again
(and double check my sage.properties to ensure no vestige of colossus remains) and see what happens

I have seen the slowness when trying to bring up the epg as well and I'm using a client and have no colossus.

Check your plugins...more than likely there's some incompatability with 7.1 with a plugin you're using that's causing the slowness.

what he said! i've disabled my UI plugins and think i've seen the problem go away.........i haven't tracked it down to a specific one though

Disabling twiederTweaks Plugin corrected the slowdown/spinning circle issues that I was having on my system.

Noticeable slowness for me in all clients too, PC & HD300. It does seem to get worse the longer the server service is run without a restart.
