Home Video Poster/Fanart?

Currently, with home videos there are no posters/fanart for obvious reasons.

Could Phoenix create a global poster/fanart package that could be applied to home video collections to make navigating them cooler?

I don’t know... Maybe grab some pics from the personal pics folder montage them into a creative poster with Home Video as the headline or something... Just a thought to jazz up the home video collection.

You can manually add fanart to your homevideos by setting the Fanart Title from the web ui, and then you can drop files into the fanart folder. I do know a few users do this now.

Yeah, I know that they can be created/added manually. That's what prompted my thread about a possible new feature. I was about to create one for my use and got to thinking that an automated/automatic approach might be pretty cool. Especially for those that either don't know they can create their own, or aren't creative enough to make a nice one that will fit with the Phoenix layout/design.

It's just an idea that I thought I would throw out to see if anyone else would benefit from having Phoenix automate the creation/display for these type of files. I don't believe any other developers are doing anything like this...

The Single List UMB will eventually have some tweaks so that it displays home videos better - and by better I mean prettier. Sean added the API's I need to do this, I just haven't gotten around to it.
