Turning TV on with SageTV remote

Is it possible? I lost the remote to my Samsung HDTV and the only thing I use my TV for is SageTV.

With the HD300 remote, yes. And I believe you can buy one (of those newer ones) in the store, if they're in stock. Programming instructions are in the manual.

If you have an HD100 or HD200 remote (that came with one of those), no dice.

If you have an IR blaster that you use to tune your STB, could you program that to fake the missing remote in question so as to program the HD3000 remote?
