When selecting video quality in detailed setup/multimedia, which take precedence....
The drop down list, or the "advanced" area, where you can set audio sampling rate, CBR/VBR and associated values, etc?

The drop down list. The advanced area won't have any effect effect for the color adjustments.

Any plans on enabling the advanced options section? It would make tweaking much easier than having to edit the prefs file each time...

It's only there as a default because the Windows DirectShow interface provides it. I plan to completely remove the Advance Capture settings button in the future and directly integrate all of those options into Sage.

I am really looking forward to the day when ALL of the configuration is in SageTV itself instead of that popup settings window.
All in due time. :)

So in future versions, we are going to be able to granually adjust the settings via GUI instead of having to edit the properties? Sweet!
