ATI Radeon 9700 and SAGE TV

Hi,

I was just wondering will SAGE TV work with the ATI RADEON 9700 PRO AIW card? Will all the functionalities be available?

You can use the ATI card for display purposes, but not for capture at this time.

ATI doesn't have hardware MPEG2 encoding which is why we don't support it for capture currently. If you'd like recommendations on a capture card to use with SageTV, please consult our website or ask here.

well, which would be the next best PVR software for ATI products, which has support for EPG and can control the DirecTV Satellite Reciever? A PVR which can show/record from DirecTV and Control the box?
