SageDVD?

Hey, with everything you're tying into SageTV, is it feasible to add CD and/or DVD playing functionality? It's using the PowerDVD codec already, at least on my setup.

That would mean I've got all-and-I-mean-ALL of my entertainment options wrapped up in one nice little package.

We've already talked about adding this for a future version but it won't make it into release v1.3 due out next week.

Yeah, things like better audio management (play lists maybe, and a few other options of sorting/viewing) as well as DVD playback would all be wonderful additions long term.

It would be nice if a year from now (I guess that is long term in my opinion) I could do basically the same stuff I could do on a WinXP MCE box - pictures, dvd, music, tv/video.

But the world won't end if that doesn't happen either. :)

I put a DVD drive in my workstation about a week or so ago just so I could get started on this....it'll be a little while, but we'll have DVD in there sooner or later. (and you all know which I usually lean towards :) )
