Anyone ever try Total Home Remote?

http://www.totalhomeremote.tv/

http://www.htpcnews.com/main.php?id=thr_remote_4

Seems to work with both SageTV and the Remote Wonder which I have. Was wondering how it would work as a program switcher for Sage, Meedio, etc.

It may also provide some benifits programming the Remote Wonder and extending what the plug in does all without having to use girder ....

Any thoughts?

Thanks, T.

I own the THR. I bought it for my Client. I use the pronto for my main system. I reaaly did'nt care for it much because the buttons I use often are really small on the bottom of the remote and I have large fingers. Overall it is a nice package. I widh the buttons were a little larger.

Thanks ... Yea, I have the ATI Remote Wonder which is very similar to the one in the HTPC News Review. The buttons are a bit smalll and not placed real well, but I am just glad it works with Sage.

How do you feel about how the software works as an interface? Do you use it as a program launcher for your HTPC? Well, I guess not since you said you use it for the client rather than the sever, thus you probably use the PC for ther stuff ...

Well I am not even using this remote anymore. It's just gathering dust in a drawer. I switched to a philips dvr learning remote. I use sage to control the remote. The philips had more buttons then the THR since it was built to use a Tivo or Replay. I only use my client to watch tv in the bedroom. I do have a monitor set up to go online if need be. Its vary rare though since I have a WIFI laptop.
