Just downloaded V1.3.7RC1 last night, was going to be my first time trying your product. Received the message "Cannot Load DirectShow filters" when I tried to view Live TV. I uninstalled, cleaned out the Frey... directory in Program Files and then installed V1.2.8 and have the same error. When changing channels, I also sometimes get an error "There was a problem with time control in DirectShow. Please consult the log file and report the error. Failed seeking the DirectShow filter graph after switching files." Attached is a ZIP file containing DxDiag output, 4 log files from SageTV directory and a screen cap of the two errors.

The AIW cards are not currently supported for capture.

Well, not exactly the answer I was looking for but that will do.
I've installed this on my wife's computer and get the same errors. She's got a Hauppauge 878-based WinTV-PCI card. The rest of the hardware info can be garnered from the attached dxdiag.txt file.
Thanks for your timely response.

I should probably also mention that when I started tinkering with her computer to try out this product, I noticed that her computer's clock was a month and a day ahead (7/1 instead of 5/31). So I corrected this, then the next time I tried to run the program, I received a message indicating that the computer's date had been changed with the possible intent of circumventing Sage's trial time. Now if I want to run Sage I have to set her computer's date a month and one day forward.
Thanks,
Mark

Hauppauge's naming conventions aren't all that clear. The cards that Hauppauge makes that work on SageTV are called the WinTV-PVR-350 and the WinTV-PVR-250(sometimes called the WinTV-PVR-pci 2). The "plain" WinTV PCI cards lack the hardware based MPEG encoder. Follow this link (http://www.hauppauge.com/html/products.htm#pci) to a list of the different models of Hauppauge Tv tuner cards. The link will open with the "plain" WinTV line of cards on screen. If your wifes card is one of these models it lacks the hardware encoder. If you scroll up to the top of the page on the link I supplied, you will see the PVR series of cards. The first two on this list are the Hauppauge cards supported by SageTV. To make sure you have the right card for SageTV you could buy the bundle Frey store offers at this link. (http://www.freytechnologies.com/buy.html#bundle)
Please not I'm not a Sage employee, just a satisfied SageTV customer trying to help another user.
