Just tested the client this morning before coming to work and was worryed it had crashed again... selecting livetv did nothing at all... when the crash had happened doing this on the server did nothing either... but checking the server it worked fine...
Selecting a channel on the client then made live tv work... and it worked obviously as you clicked the channel in the guide...
I guess it could do with just picking a channel if its not already on one... dunno...
Also i've asked before but i'd really like to see a way of ordering the channels.. its getting really confusing for me... the client and the server dont seem to have the same channel order... as i said since a few versions ago the guide uses the original xmltv number, NOT the channel number that its actually on... when i am at home i will write what the descriptions are of recordings.. they seem to say the name twice.. dunno if its an xmltv thing again...
syncing the channel order across server/client would be nice... being able to reorder them would out of tuning order would also be cool... :)
