I live in a house with other people who like to watch my SageTV. They occasionally forget to put the app to sleep, and simply turn the TV off, leaving (let's say) CNN running until the next time someone notices.
It looks like Sage will record CNN forever in such a case. Am I right about this? Is there no way to tell Sage to record my favorites and scheduled recordings instead of the current live TV program?
If not...here's my suggestion. Have Sage pop up a warning that it's about to switch to the scheduled recording, unless it gets confirmation <the "OK" button?> that you want to keep watching the current live show no matter what. ReplayTV does something similar to this; I don't know if Tivo does or not.
