Channel Logos + XMLTV questions

Does anyone know how to get the channel logos appearing in sage?

I am using sage in the UK with the xmltv plugin.
I have tried downloading the itv.gif file from the web and then I have saved this into my channellogos dir in sage.

My epgdata.xml file is now pointing to this file for the channel source

e.g :

<channel id="itv1.itv.co.uk">
<display-name>ITV 1 </display-name>
<icon src="c:\program files\frey technologies\sagetv\channellogos\itv.gif" />
I have restarted sage and the logos does not display.

Also I find that to update the epgdata.xml (which is very often) I have to remove my card source from sage wizard and then re-add it for it to pick up the new epgdata. Is there a simpler way to so this?

Overall I am very pleased with SageTV and have it running smoothly on my p4, geforce4mx, with hauppauge 250. I just wish I could add all the little bits to it now a bit more easily. Any help would be great..

What name does the channel show in the LiveTV Guide? SageTV looks for the logo file with the same filename, so I'm guessing that in "itv.gif", "itv" does not match "itv 1".

I had a space after the itv >

My gif file was itv 1.gif but you made me look again and now it works.

now i need to figure out how to keep the channel locations in the epgdata file as everytime I update it the standard locations will go back.

are there any attributes in xmltv which just update the existing epgdata file so I can keep these settings?

Sage does not use icon field in the XMLTV -- it just looks for a file with the same name as the channel in the channellogos dir
