replace guideleft.png but size is wrong

Is there a way that I can set the size of the image?
I have blown it up, but Sage still sizes it too small.

Do you mean that you changed the size of the actual image file, in order to change its display size in SageTV? If so, it won't work that way, since SageTV will scale the image to fit its assigned display area.
