View Full Version : Guide displacement in 1.3.8
Anyone notice the guide comes up showing listings almost always a 1/2 or full hour behind the current time? I mean, even the time indicator is way over to the right on top of the guide screen and everything is shown with black lettering (already over).
Thanks.

I've noticed this as well. I don't remeber this occurring in prior 1.3.x releases.

I'm using 1.3.7 and I came on to the boards just now to post about this specific thing, so yes, it's happenning in at least one prior version.

Two questions:
Is your PC time correct?
Are you using the SageTV Service or XMLTV listings?

This happens if you select something in the EPG, then watch it for awhile, and then when SageTV automatically shows the EPG after the show is over, it doesn't reset the horizontal scrolling position.

OK, but....
1. I've never seen this happen before the latest release version, and,
2. I hate it.

And it always seems to happen, not just when the current show plays to the end (if I understand you correctly).

Time is correct. Using XMLTV listings, but the guide is showing that correct too.
The time indicator is at the proper time, etc., just the guide comes up showing earlier shows (with the time indicator at the top way over to the right).

OK, now I see what you mean.
For now, you can just hit Guide when you're in the EPG to reset it to the current time.

Sounds easy enough, thanks for the help.
