Hey Folks,

I noticed that sometimes when I put SageTV to sleep in the taskbar and play a DVD, returning to SageTV after DVD playback results in no audio with SageTV.

Anybody know what is causing this? I have tried using several different audio/video filters and they all seem to act this way, some more often then others.

Running multiple tuners, if I am connected to SageTV via SageClient, the client will sometimes lose audio too! I have to restart SageTV to recover audio on SageTV and SageClient.

I assume it has to do with the DVD player and SageTV having a problem sharing audio filters.

There is a fix for this, right?

What are you using for the DVD Player software?

I have had this problem with both PowerDVD and NVDVD. The problem seems to go away if I select a different Audio Decoder in SageTV than is used by the DVD software. For example, If I use NVDVD for DVD watching and select Cyberlink Audio Decoder in SageTV, it appears to work without audio problems. Seems like SageTV does not like to "share" the audio decoder?
