Just upgraded to the the base 2.1.10 from 2.0 (mlbdude STV). I undertand that most/some of mlbdude's 2.0 STV was used in 2.1's Original2STV.

The one thing I am missing that was great is the thumbnail images for the imported video viewing. This worked in 2.0 using mlbdude, but now the images are not displayed. Is that to be expected?

If so, is there any way to get that functionality in 2.1?

Thanks.

Switch to one of the user created STV that incorporates this functionality and more.

See page 82 of the v2.1 manual that is in your SageTV directory -- the section labeled "Video Thumbnails".

Thanks. Looks like I just have to move my images to the next level into the video_ts folder compared to where they were for mlbdude's STV.

Thanks!

Ok, got them working in Original2STV and then switched to Cayars latest STV and they do not work now. They are displayed in the List view, but not in the Thumbnail view. Any ideas?

Here is what I have: d:\dvd\man on fire\video_ts\folder.jpg

Thanks.

That may be an issue with the video library the Cayars STV is using. I don't think it works the same was as teh default one. Easy test would be to put the folder.jpg up a level (restart Sage) and if Cayars loads it you know it is using an old style :).

OK, I'll try that. BTW, shoudl I just need to restart the Sage GUI portion or should I need to restart the Sage service for things like this as well?

The restart for that should only need to be the UI portion. NOTE: I don't think the restart is needed any longer with the new video library. Also, the new video library can stream the image accross the network so matching video library drives on the server and client are not necessary.

For a description of how it should be working in v2.1 see page 82 of the manual.
