Disk Space Bar Suggestion

The Disk Space Bar is a great addition, however I would like to see it modified slightly. Right now it shows the space used and the space needed. Since I have Intellegent Recording turned on I would like to see the space used chopped to show how much of it is Manual Records and Favorites or Non-Delete and Auto-Delete space, Since Intellegent Records and some favorites will automatically delete themselves for additional space it this would give a better indication when my drive space is really in jeopardy.

Sounds like you are using a customized STV. You might get better results by posting your request in one of the threads related to that specific STV in the
SageTV Customizations section of the forum.

That feature is now in several customized STV's and it's hard to guess who might be able to make the changes you are requesting (if at all possable), since you didn't specify which STV you are using.

dont you think it might be very confusing to see so many different colors in a status bar? how will you know which color is for automaticaly deleteted items vs. manual recordings etc?

I think it might be a great idea maybe for a separate screen which wold give all those statistics but on the main page it probably would have to look versy simple not to add to much confusion to it.

OK, I am using Cayers14.stv, which I believe borrowed the disk bars from other STVs, the one I am using is the bar at the top center of the screen. I don't see adding one additional color would be that much of an issue.

How about having another menu which would give all the details on how much each recording category does ocupy on disk? maybe that could be great option? I mean dont get me wrong, I was not saying it would be a problem to have one exra color, but having all different recodrings included in different colors like favorites, manual recordings, timed recordings, watches programs etc, would add many colors and nt just one to the bar...plus the colors for future recordings I think that would make it as rainbow... :)
