I have tried about everything now, bot doesnt seem to get it to work.
I have:
- installed xmltv.
- installed the plugin files in the sagetv\xmltv directory.
- put the xerces files in the Program\Java\j2re1.4.2_04\lib\ext directory.
- edited the sage.properties file.
- configured the listings so that i have the epgdata.xml file.
When i try to add a new source i get to the point where there should be XMLTV Lineup, there are only the USA lineups.
Does anyone know what i am doing wrong. I have tried all the xmltv plugins for sagetv that i have found on the net without success.

Post your sage.properties line for the epg-plugin.
There maybe something wrong there.

this is what the line in sage.properties looks like:
epg/epg_import_plugin=xmltv.XMLTVImportPlugin

Are you totally sure that there are no 'spaces' at the end of XMLTVImportplugin. This shouold apply to your sage.properties and your sageclient.properties.
Are you also sure that you are changing the .properties files with both Sage and SageClient closed down, not sleeping

The line looks OK.
UKmgranger's suggestions are also important.
Also, are you supplying "00000" as the zip code when asked.
The xmltv plugin traps this zip code to kick in.
From memory if you give another zip code it will proceed with the US lineups.....

There is no space at the end of XMLTVImportplugin, and I'm not using the client, sagetv closed down,no sage service running.
I am supplying 00000. i have tried others too.

This is very strange or very simple.
In your first post you:
- installed the plugin files in the sagetv\xmltv directory.
Did you extract to the SageTV or the sagetv\xmltv dir.
Note that the zip file already has the path xmltv.
Maybe you ended up with the three files channel.class, show.class and XMLTVImportPlugin.class in the sagetv\xmltv\xmltv directory rather than in sagetv\xmltv.
Check to see that the 3 files are in the sagetv\xmltv dir.

The files are in sagetv\xmltv.
Now i activated the console window, and this is what shows:
må 12/6 17:53:15.577 Error loading EPG Import Plugin of:java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: sage/EPGImportPlugi
what does that mean?
