1.4.3 beta wont shutdown!?

I'm currently running the 1.4.3 beta, which seems to be working very, except for difficulties shuting down the software.

It seems to hang. I cant kill it from the task manager. XP wont even shut down. I eventually have to hit the big reset switch on the computer.

I uninstallled 1.3.8 before installing 1.4.3, but I didn't delete my old config files.

Yes, every time if I click the 'x' close button in the top right corner of the window.

If I put SageTV to sleep, I can then use the system tray icon to select exit and it shuts down correctly. Weird...

have exactly the same problem here, wont shutdown with the X at all.

What version of java are you running? Go to DOS and type:
java -version

Can you post the tail end of your sagetv_0.txt file from when this happens please?

Java version is

however, since i just reinstalled 1.4.3 this morning the problem has gone away!

ok just happaned to me agian, finished watching an episode of something, moved it to the library after watching then tried to close, here's the tail
