Hello,

I'm wondering if anyone has 2 creative video blaster digital vcr cards in a computer? If so, would you be willing to do some tests?

Thanks

Could you download http://vbdvcr.mu3d.com/2cardsv2.zip then http://vbdvcr.mu3d.com/dvcr2.exe

The zip file contains 2 sets of driver, install one on each card, reboot, then try to run dvcr2. If it works fine it should receive remote events from both cards.

Thanks

works. I can point at either receiver and it interrprets signal. Any other tests?

btw,

audio gets all screwed up when 2 dvcr cards are installed (chipmonk noises) Know of a way to get audio from both?

That's very interesting, it means an application could control 2 of the cards with the modified drivers. Current applications don't know how to handle 2 of the cards but if the IR test works with both input it means they could be modified to control them.

With those driver both card should have "chipmunk sound" is that right? If you want I could send you another test application to fix that but all settings from inside applications will be ignored (bitrate, resolution, ...)

Yeah, its both cards.

Odd thing is that after I took one card out, the chipmonk sound remained on the other. Even after i reinstalled the driver to the original. Im sure it will go away if i pull the card out and reboot without and then clean install...(anyway...ill try later today.)

Id love to try that fix. Let me know.

I have updated dvcr2.exe to initialize the 2 cards audio rate. Tell me if it works fine.
