Yes, but the R5000's WMC support wasn't mature when I got started (not sure it's as good as the support for Sage to this day). Add to that Sage's extensibility and active add-in developer community....

I, too have had Vonage (fine except for the cost) and now have the Obi/GoogleTalk combo plus BroadVoice.
I find that GoogleTalk occasionally suffers greatly degraded service (dropouts, poor line...
