I am pretty sure I just went with the default...
I am pretty sure I just went with the default (Volume Locking First). This was on a Test VM with a 20 gig hard drive, to a 40 gig hard drive, (both virtual) so it's not relative to your setup speed...

Are you really recording 1080P? your sig states you have HDPVR and HDHR's.
Either way I can record from my two HDHR's and one HDHR_Prime at the same time to a Mirrored set of drives with no issues...
