.13 enable 3D accel -> crash
Using SageTV .13... I have had 3D accelleration disabled because of stability issues with prior versions. There seems to be a note about DirectX9 stability fixes in the release note, but now when I go to enable 3D accelleration, SageTV closes itself and I have to restart it (and 3D accelleration is still disabled).
Anyone else see this? -Dan |

yeah it doesn't crash, but the 3d acceleration setting does not save.

The OSD on the monitor seems really sluggish with the new beta unless I enable 3D accel. But when I do that the OSD on the PVR 350 disappears entirely.

I too have seen strange behavior with enabling 3D.
When it is enabled on my system, I get blur motion artifactts in my recording playback, but they go away when I disable it. I'm currently recording at 3.25GB/hr. I'm running Win2kPro with DX9, a PNY NVIDIA Ti4400, and a PVR350 It;s no big deal for me to leve 3D disabled - it only seems to smooth the GUI in some places but overall appears pretty minor. -O-

Regarding the OSD for version .13, I'm not using PVR350 output yet but on my EPIA box, when the UI is up over the playing video (Ctrl-I) the video is very jumpy, looks like everytime the UI is updated it makes the video skip. When the UI goes away and it's just video then the video is fine.

I too am seeing 3D problems on both the server and client machines.
