|
mapping QAM to something meaningful
I just setup my HVR-1600 and got several QAM channels after scanning.
How can I tell what the channels are? In other words, I see 25.1 in the program quide ( with no data ). how do i know if 25.1 is Discovery or History or whatever? Thanks.

About the only way to tell what a clear QAM channel happens to be is to preview it.
In the SageTV PDF manual, see the whole Channel Setup section from p. 163 - 171, particularly "Remapping Stations for EPG data using ATSC or QAM Digital Tuners" on p. 166. - Andy
