Can you play wtv files in Sage?

My Sage system has been down for a few days so I have been making recordings using my backup machine which is running Win7 MC. The Recorded TV files are in .WTV format - is there a way to play these files in Sage either directly or after a conversion process?

Aren't those files DRM'd from Windows Media Center? Maybe one of babgavant tools can convert them. I think you can right-click on the file and convert them to .drms in Win 7. That may help.

I am not sure - I thought that it depends on the security restrictions of the original file - dvr-ms could have DRM but you can play those files in Sage or convert using VideoReDo, etc. These recordings are all from an analog tuner - a PVR-150 so assuming that there was no CGMS-A coding on the recording there should be no DRM, unless I am misunderstanding the DRM in Win7 MC.

Me neither. Then just right click and convert them to dvrms. Then you should be able to view them in Sage.

D'oh - that was simple. I (obviously) didn't know that you can do that.
