SageTVClient Not Playing HD-PVR Files (Playback Exception)
I am unable to get my SageTVClient on my laptop to play any of my HD-PVR recorded files. Everything else seems to work fine. I get the below error whether I play a previously recorded show or LiveTV:
Code:
There was a Playback Error in playback. Details: sage.PlaybackException: ERROR (-4,0x80040217): There was a problem rendering the video portion of the content for playback. I searched around in the forums, but did not see anything that addressed this issue. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Thanks for the info. My laptop is using Vista, but was thinking about upgrading to Win7. Good to hear Win7 has a built in decoder. But if I do not upgrade soon, I will give one of the others a try. Thanks so much.
