Black bar on left and right side of the tv viewing area

I have a PVR 500 and SageTV up and running to my TV set via s-video but it seem that SageTV adds a black bar on the left and side of the tv viewing area.

When it showing SageTV menus it show full screen used corner to corner but when I am viewing an actual tv show, I am seeing a black bar added on left and right side of the screen and it about one inches wide on each side so I am losing 2 inches of viewable screen on my TV.

The black bar only appear when I am watching tv or watching a DVD via SageTV and I have fiddle everything I can think of to get the full screen length out of it.


Can anyone assist me on this? I am using GT 6600 nvidia card with s-video out to TV and also have VGA out to a computer monitor so I have a clearer view when making fine tuning but it is my plan to remove the monitor entirely once the fine tuning is done.
