Video Cover art request/question

After experimenting, browsing the forum, and checking page 95 of the manual for sagetv 6.1, I have a good handle on how video cover art works. I do, however, have a feature request. Is there any way we can define thumbnails for a folder instead of just individual movie files? I generally organize my TV shows as Show>Season>episodes. I added a folder.jpg thumnail for many of them and, as I now realize is proper behavior, all the generated thumbnails have been replaced by the same folder.jpg thumnail for every single video in the same folder. I would like to be able to have a thumbnail for the Show folder, different thumbnails for the Season folder (album art for the DVD season releases usually), and different thumbnails for each episode. This would be cool for movies too, although I don't really know what my Action, Comedy, etc. thumbnails would look like.

Is this possible with this version (6.1.9) or any future versions of SageTV?
