Streamlined process for BD to server
I recently purchased a HD200 and have >100BD and >200DVD that I want to put on the server. I have read many threads...
The shortest process I found it 4 steps. 1. Rip 2. Encode 3. Audio convert 4. Mux together Is there not a one stop shop? Nobody has created a single piece of software? Can the Extender recognize a ripped BD out of the Video_TS/Audio_TS folders? Are people just processing the file because of storage constraints. I feel luck but storage is not an issue for me. We currently have a 12TB WHS on a gigabit ethernet. I would be happy to just keep the BD as they are without all the hassle. Also I noticed that numerous people purchase a place-shifter instead of a client licence, for use with HTPC's Any downsides to this? Thanks. |
