Can not launch studio in Placeshifter - Ubuntu 9.04

Hey Guys,

So I just installed placeshifter on Ubuntu 9.04. It is up and running for the most part. I can browse through and navigate all of my pictures, videos, etc. from the WHS SageTV server.

However, I can't play anything and this is more than likely due to the video driver problems i am having with this latest ubuntu distro.

In any event, I'm not looking for playback on this machine, I set it up purely as a test machine to play with add-ins and studio.

I'm not quite sure what is relevant from the Ubuntu FAQ regarding launching studio. I skipped steps 2 and 3 as this is a client and did step 4. I created the "EULAstudio.txt" in the /opt/sagetv/server/ directory.

I then hit Ctrl + Shift+ F12 to launch studio. When I do this, I get the spinning circle of death.

Can anyone help on what I did wrong? I have a feeling I missed a step somewhere.
