HD-PVR Rolling colors

I have 2 HD-PVRs connected to 2 Directv H24s. One of them is perfect. The other one has a color issue. There is a band of color that is slightly off that takes up about 1/3 of the screen and slowly rolls upwards until it gets to the top, then starts over. It is mostly noticable in dark scenes. The settings on both cable boxes and throughout sage are identical for both boxes. If need be, I can post a clip showing the problem, but it will be a few days before I am home and can get to it.

Sounds kind of like a ground loop issue? I had something similar on a Colossus via component from an H24 and I never could get it to work. Luckily HDMI solved it, but from the tone of recent posts suggesting HDCP is rolling out, that system's days are numbered and I really don't know what I'll do if I have to go back to component. Of course that option won't work for you. For my component fiasco I tried a Monoprice component video ground loop isolator and still had the rolling pattern, though it was noticeably better. They are pretty cheap and accept returns so as a last resort it might be worth trying. First though, when you can get to the machine, perhaps try swapping various components -- the HDPVR wall warts (are they both on the same circuits for receiver/HDPVR/pc?), component cables, H24's, USB ports, etc. Failing something lucky like finding a bad power supply/cable/or different circuit, maybe the HDPVR is going bad -- that might actually be a better problem to have...
