Can't connect using Dyndns hostname
I have a free dyndns host name that I setup a few years ago because I have a weather station on a server. I can type my host name and reach my weather page, but if I type my hostname http://ronsweather.homeip.net:31099, I can''t connect to my sage server. I can connect through the locator or by typing the wan ip address, but the whole idea of using dnydns is so I can just type the hostname regardless of what the ip address is. Any ideas why I can't connect with my hostname? I do have port 31099 directed to my sage server

Use this site to check your ports...
http://www.yougetsignal.com/tools/open-ports/ Also make sure dyndns is set to the correct IP and not the local IP. Login at the dyndns site and look at IP. There are some up-daters that update the wrong IP to DYNDNS.
