Click. I'm still around, but I frequent the forums much much less these days.
I still love my Sage, but these Olympics are making me want more tuners and some of the CC tuners look pretty advantageous. If only I could use then with sagetv instead of WMC! |

Click - My current SageTV setup is staying at my house, but I am not
So thinking through a solution in my new place and really it will be a combination of SageTV, PlayOn, Netflix, and extenders if I can find some.I've put a lot of effort into SageTV and not looking to start from scratch with something else if I can avoid it for a time. |

Click
---------------------- but can I just say people are visiting the forum less and less for very logical reasons. A "click count" on the forums will vastly under represent the total sagetv userbase. Currently Active Users: 111 Most users ever online ; 6,103 (08-03-2011) Most people don't "hang out in sagetv" forums. They usually come here looking for help and advice. There has been Nothing new in sagetv/sagetv plugins for a while ( a long while ) so people refencing sagetv forums for fixes/advice/plugins have mostly got what they needed and don't need to visit anymore. Just becuase the forums are less active does not mean that sagetv is less active. The easiest way to think of is sagetv users like their customisable PVRs. The competition is weak compared to sagetv; Look at the competition. Now back to Sagetv. Now back at the competition. Now back to Sagetv. Sadly the competition isn't Sagetv. But if the competition stopped using lame interfaces and restrictions they could be like Sagetv. Look at the EPG. Backup up. Where are you? You're on your sofa with the PVR that the competition could be like. What's in your hand? I have it. It's a pvr recording 2 hd streams of those shows you like. Look again. Those shows are now part of your customisable 4tb server/cleint setup. Anything is possible when your PVR is sagetv and not the competition. I'm on a horse. ![]() People may have stopped visiting the forum so much but they are still using Sagetv because the competition still hasn't caught up. |

I still haven't found a single product that do what sageTV can. Not even close.

Still here.
No time for working on plugins: webfeedencoder and my alternative to playon plugin - those days are over. Only visit when Sagetv stops working - and for hope of any news of some announcement of googletvsagetvmeld. In a year or so I reckon other competing technologies will have moved on and I may accept a less rolls royce solution. Probably smart TV if they cover all the worthwhile online sources or BT vision. Narflex - if the phoenix is gonna rise from the flames I hope it does it within the year. Michael
