Streaming HockeyStreams.com
Anybody know of a way I can get a site like HockeyStreams.com to stream it's content and played back in SageTV? On my SageTV server and clients it's not a big deal I can open a browser and go to the site, but I am hoping for a way so I can watch the streams on my HD200 which does not have a browser. Thanks in advance.

Without actually going to your site to check it out, there are pretty much three ways to get internet video into Sage.
1) If it's archived clips ("podcasts") you might be able to write a custom line to get it into the "online" area of Sage. See the sticky at the top about how to do that. It only works for archived/saved videos. But since your site is called "streams", I'm guessing it's not archived stuff... 2) If you have PlayOn and the Sage PlayOn plugin, you could post on their forum and try to get someone to write a plugin or script to add it to PlayOn. 3) It may work in michaeldjcox's WebFeedEncoder (WFE). See the thread, about 10 to 15 threads below this one (as of this writing, it's on the first page).

If they are Podcasts you can also use PodcastRecorder.

Thanks everyone for your responses, I looked into the PlayOn option and I found that someone already created a plugin for PlayOn and SageTV also has a plugin for PlayOn so I will most likely go that route. But I am curious about WFE and since I have never tried WFE I may give it a try. In case anyone is interested they do streaming of live games as well as keep archives of games. Thanks again.

Are these NHL games or other leagues. If it is NHL then you may have a while before you get to try this out.
