HD200 turning on by itself!

just did a re-build on a new boot drive, and for some reason, my Hd200 is turning itself on. Obviously, something isn't setup right. Any idea what? I imagine whenever I reboot my SageTV server, or activate the service or the SageTV software, an "on" signal is being sent. I just can't find the switch in the Sage software to disable the HD200 from auto-booting.

Have you got the SageTCPServer plugin installed as I think that has a setting which starts up all extenders when the Sage service is started?

BRILLIANT! Thank you - that would appear to be the winning answer. I have that installed for the TiSageTV app, which I rarely use - hence I forgot all about it...

This option was causing problems for me once I got to about 6 extenders as having them all on was causing the Java Heap to fill up. You can turn this feature off in the config for SageTCPServer.

And as a reminder, the "auto-reboot" is on by default, as people would not be able to control extenders without using the IR remote first otherwise... I know that other people wanted it that way too, but I'm not sure why anymore.

Good to hear, I remembered reading that in the forum a while ago, which solved it for me at the time
