PVR 350 tv out and VMR9?
Hi, I have what I think is a stupid question:

using the TV out on the hauppauge pvr 350 and selecting 'hardware decoding only' will mean that all those other options under "video" are pointless, right? That is, switching between VMR9 and overlay or default shouldn't affect picture quality, correct?

Correct - provided you're connecting the display to the 350's TV out. If you're not the "hardware decoding only" option is pointless.
