|
Client fails to find server, 4.1 or service mode problem?
I can't seem to connect despite the IP and networking not changing. Since tried it last I upgraded to 4 and changed to service mode, should either of these give me issues?
Any way to problem shoot the client connection?

Both the client & server have to be v4.1, but if you have a firewall, make sure the service is allowed through. If you previously gave permission for SageTV & the client, now you'll need to do so for the service. Double check the client's firewall too, since the firewall may notice the client is not the same version that was given permission previously.
