Photo Thumbnails

I'm trying to get my server to create all the photo thumbnails at once, so don't have any delays later on. It starts the process but then sticks on the first one, never comes back. Anyone else get this? Looks like there's an error in the log:

i also have a problem generating thumbnails makes it half way through then stops.

no it sticks on a JPEG Image.

Sage thinks mine was to do with it being a BMP, so you should probably log a bug report.
