IsChannelViewable()

Question regarding 'IsChannelViewable()' API:

What exactly determines if a channel is 'viewable' or not ?

My reading of the docs is that IsChannelViewableOnLineup returns true if the channel is enabled in that lineup, false if it's disabled. So IsChannelViewable would then presumably return true if there is any lineup in which that channel is enabled, false if there is no such lineup.

That's my interpretation anyway. I haven't actually tested to see if it holds water.

I use IsChannelViewable in my FCL plugin and it appears to work this way when I do a FilterByMethod with it.
