Still clear of the "no signal" problems with WinTV Nova-T USB2 and SageTV - now using v6.1.17 RC and the recently released Hauppauge drivers.

I still can't get two Nova-T tuners working at the same time. Both work standalone but going dual gives a "Capture error during playback" on one of the tuners. Not had a chance to dig deeper - is anyone else using this same setup?

Cheers, Chris.

No, but I did read elsewhere on these forums that if you have 2 Nova-T USB2s, they have to be the same hardware revision...

I got a reply from the sage guys, and they seemed to think that this was fixed in 6.1.7. So I downloaded the beta and all is looking good after 2 days.

Maybe that's the fix that broke ITV2 and ITV3 for me in 6.1.7...

Thanks for the info on the hardware revisions. I just checked and both have the same model / revision / batch numbers.

Time for some more tinkering

Cheers, Chris.

FYI - I fixed the dual tuner problem by getting 2 more Nova-T USB sticks from PC World. They are currently on offer at only £30 each.

It's a slightly over the top solution but everything works ok now and the USB sticks look much better with my Mac Mini than the external Nova-Ts.

Cheers, Chris.
