Epia M10000

I have an older Via Epia M10000 that I thought of using for a SageTV client/server. I really don't do much with SageTV, watch TV, videos and listen to music.

I have everything installed, but the screen isn't working correctly. When I scroll on the main menu, the blue background shrinks and then enlarges.

When I try to load a video in Google or You Tube, the screen goes crazy until the video starts.

I have the latest SageTV installed and the latest Java - all on Windows XP SP2.

Thanks for any information.

You're probably having issues with the video drivers for the builtin video on that board. I would suggest in Sage to turn off any 3D acceleration in Sage and try using overlay for any of the video and see if that helps.

Thanks. You were right on. In the setup menu, I disabled 3D acceleration and now the menus work fine.

I had a problem with MPEG2 playback, but I installed PowerDVD 4.0 (last version I own) and then selected that decoder for the MPEG playback.

Everything seems to work now

Thanks for the help.
